We were kindly invited to Partridge Lakes in Culcheth, for a tour of their brand new Pumpkin Patch. From the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be a brilliant afternoon. Lots of parking, plenty of signage and oodles of excitement!
We walked in and spotted the giant 'Partridge Pumpkin' straight away. We were greeted with the prettiest views and a tasty pumpkin spice latte, topped with mini marshmallow pumpkins to keep us toasty whilst we waited for our tour of the patch!
There were pumpkins for as far as the eye could see, bumpy ones, green ones, white ones, blue ones, mini ones, giant ones and pink wheelbarrows to collect them all in. Plus lots of photo opportunities including beautiful views of the crystal lake and a huge hay bail spider, we could have literally spent the entire day there.
The icing on the cake for my little brude was the carving and painting station. All outdoors so Covid safe, but under the cover of a stunning canopy with twinkly lights, flowers, autumnal displays and perfectly decorated pumpkins of course! It was a lovely place to sit, get creative, have a cuppa from the outdoor cafe and leave all the mess behind, rather than showering my kitchen with pumpkin innards!
Overall it was a truly brilliant way to get into the halloween spirit and spend the day with my mini me.
If you would like to get involved its not too late! Head to their website and book your now for only £2 entry. You can choose three orange pumpkins for just £10.
